Diving courses

All our diving courses consist of two parts – the theoretical and the practical!

The theoretical part starts from the comfort of your hotel or even before your visit in Crete, as it is based on individual e-learning, through your PC, phone or tablet. During this learning phase you will cover the principles, concepts and terms you need to know, firstly to ensure your dive is safe and then to boost the enjoyment! Our professional team will always be available to help and support you in any matter or inquiry that may occur.

As soon as you complete the theoretical part, you are ready to join our daily cruises or diving programs and start practicing in Open Water Dives! We pick you up from your hotel or villa and drive you directly to the boat or beach, ensuring more quality time in the sea, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and explore the magical underwater world!

Scuba rangers

Kids are the explorers of the future. The SSI Scuba Rangers course is designed for young divers 8-12 years old and the program is taught only by specially trained instructors in a pool, or under confined water conditions in a protected area up to a maximum depth of 5 meters. Kids learn through fun and interactive games the same scuba skills as adults! After completing the course, they will earn the Scuba Rangers recognition rating!

Scuba diver

A program for those who want to practice diving in open water, but do not have time to complete the Open Water Diver course. With the SSI Scuba Diver course you get certified to dive up to 12 meters deep in open water, under the supervision of a professional diver! At the end of the course you take the SSI Scuba Diver certification – the perfect foundation to become a confident and safe diver, which can be easily upgraded to the SSI Open Water certification, just by completing the additional training and dives.

Diver stress & rescue

One of the most important lessons you will ever learn is how to manage and prevent any problem that may occur underwater to you or your fellow divers. Diver stress is a major cause of diving accidents, which you can easily and methodically learn how to prevent and resolve. React Right is SSI’s emergency first response course, where you learn how to manage dive emergencies and treat injuries. The program is consisted of the following basic components: Primary Assessment, First Aid & CPR Skills, Primary Stabilization Techniques, and includes two optional components: Oxygen Administration in Diving Emergencies and Automated External Defibrillation Basics, by using a combination of academic sessions and practical training scenarios. This is the first step to build your career as an SSI Dive Professional! Become a well-equipped group leader to certified divers. Learn how to guide your group safely in a variety of underwater environments and conditions. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Dive Guide certification.

Dive master

Are you dreaming of leading certified divers underwater? Do you want to improve your dive skills and take the first step towards becoming a scuba instructor? Become an SSI Dive Master! This program is the first step on an exciting journey. Learn the “Science of Diving” (theoretical course), how to safely lead certified divers in various environments and conditions and how to help the Instructors during courses. By giving dive briefings, doing site evaluations and leading dives, you will become a confident Dive Master in no time.
